Car Photographer Bratislava
NordShots is based in Bratislava for most of the year, covering Central Europe's car scene — meets, track days, motorsport events and private sessions.
Alex, the photographer behind NordShots, splits the year between Bratislava and a shorter season on Spain's Costa Blanca. The Spanish dates move from year to year and are announced in advance rather than pinned to a fixed month, which means Bratislava is home base for the majority of the calendar — not a stop on a once-a-year tour. That gives ongoing, genuine access to the car culture here: the clubs, the regular meets, the track days that happen through the season.
The work splits into two kinds. Event photography means turning up to meets, track days and car festivals and shooting them as they actually happen — not restaging anything afterwards. Private sessions mean working with a single owner and their car, choosing a location and light that suit it, and taking the time a proper set needs. Alex works in English and Spanish, so language isn't a barrier for local owners or for the wider international car community around Bratislava.

Bratislava sits close to three other capitals, which makes it a genuinely practical base for covering car culture across Central Europe rather than just Slovakia. Vienna is under an hour's drive away, and Brno and Budapest are both within easy reach for a day trip. Beyond Slovakia, Alex travels to shoot events and private sessions in Austria, Czechia, Hungary and Poland, so if you're organising a meet, track day or festival anywhere in the wider region, it's worth getting in touch even if Bratislava isn't the closest city on the map to you.
